My Mediocre Quarantine Diary

So this one's dedicated to my Digitial Production Studio professor, Mike (thanks for the picture of the opossum, you should name her Luna). He's the reason I'm writing this blog in the first time, so that's pretty cool I suppose. I'm going to answer and discuss all of the questions he has regarding this blog, so hopefully it's not boring. I changed the background/theme, so hopefully, it's easier on the eyes are more fun to look at.  I'd first like to mention that this class has been amazing. I've learned lots, made really cool friends, and laughed (a lot- I'm sorry I'm so loud, Mike). It's been a blast to learn digital production in such a fun way with a great professor. I never thought I'd miss waking up at 7 (typically later, but let's just pretend I got up at 7) and skipping coffee for a class (definitely worth it). I'm very thankful that I'd still be allowed in the class if I was a worm, maybe I could do more work...

It's me... again... how disappointing. My last post was quite negative. I read another post where someone made  a list of things they miss, so I'm going to do that and then make a list of things I am grateful for during this time. Here's what I miss: I miss staying up until 1 am with my best friend, sending each other tiktoks  and talking about everything from what we're going to wear tomorrow to existential crises. I miss her boyfriend, Hayden, who feels like a brother that's been in my life forever. I miss going on little dates with my boyfriend every week, even if that just means ordering pizza and watching a movie in my cozy room. I miss his hugs when I'm sad or stressed that make all of my problems go away. I miss my chaotic decor in my dorm room, especially the shrek tapestry and the random picture next to our mirror that says "get happy" I miss waking up at 7 am to go to my favorite class with some of my favorite people. guess who's back.... It's just me. I'm back. I was busy the past two days, so I didn't post, but here I am, get excited.  Stuff seems to have gotten crazy again. I got updates on some of my finals, some (like Digitial Production) are to benefit me, others not so much. In one class, I am teaching myself the material entirely and we were given writing assignments rather than a final- seems alright, but we were given a week before they are due. I have so much going on I'm kind of overwhelmed. On a positive note, I got a new villager in Animal Crossing- woohoo. My island seems to finally be coming together, so that makes me happy. Two of my best friends bought me 2 more games for my switch to keep me occupied. I'm so thankful for my friends during this time, allowing me to vent and be sad despite them going through the same things.  So essentially, life is wack and friends are the best.. Hi again! I'm back, so be prepared to be bored.  Today's my mom's birthday. Our original plan was to go to Garden of the Gods in Illinois, but we slept until noon..oops.We went to Howell Wetlands instead. Howell Wetlands is a nature area filled with marshes and hiking trails in Evansville, Indiana (my home). My mom's afraid of marshes & swamps, so we had an interesting time! I played Animal Crossing for way longer than I should have and I'm absolutely not ashamed. I think the plan for the rest of the day is just to watch TV and laze around- nothing new. I'll probably try to convince my family to watch a movie or start a new show, but who knows.    One of my friends bought me a pokemon game and I plan on getting Mario Kart soon, so hopefully my life will be a little less boring after today. Hi! I'm posting this blog for my Digital Production class at Bellarmine. I was going to do something a lot more extravagant for this assignment, but here I am. It's almost 1 a.m. and I can't sleep. My Nintendo Switch is dead so I can't play Animal Crossing to pass the time. I already got tired of playing Club Penguin. I lead a very exciting life, huh? Originally, I was going to create a website for my stepdad's jewelry business, but that would take a lot more time and resources than I have on my hands at this time. I'll most likely still create the website for the fun of it, just at a later time. So, for now, I will be writing some kind of blog post as often as possible.
